Scope Of Work
The Aquatic Center is a 40,688 sq ft state-of-the-art facility with a 10-lane, 50 meter pool with diving well, Therapy Pool, Leisure Pool, and a Spa. This project includes wet and dry heating areas, locker rooms, offices, and exercise rooms. The pool enclosure area is a 29,068 sq ft aluminum box beam superstructure with thermally broken insulated translucent panels. The remainder of the building is CMU bearing walls and structural steel, bar joist and metal decking. The exterior is brick veneer. This is the first public indoor aquatic center in Calvert County.
