Perkins Custom Coatings is a wholly-owned division of the Wm. M. Perkins Company, a third-generation Southern California painting and coatings business with operations in San Diego, Riverside, Imperial and southern Orange County.

Founded in 1969, the officers, directors and managers of the Wm. M. Perkins Company have over 50 years combined experience in the painting and coatings business and are directly involved in all daily decision making and company operations. We take great pride in only working with and installing the highest quality coatings available in the marketplace today. All are proven and been a part of thousands of successful applications all across the country. The products we sell are made by companies whose quality is “top of the line” and, unlike some of our other competitors, have a very formidable manufacturers warranty that makes our own in-house warranty that much stronger.

That is why the warranty that we offer on our coatings work is almost always the longest in the local marketplace and we believe that should be important to you for a number of reasons. First, we only sell products that we believe in. We have tested these products (we test our competition’s products too) so that we can guarantee that our products will perform to your satisfaction. Second, we have a long history in the southern California marketplace—40 years—and we intend to be around for many more. A warranty from a company with a long market presence means a lot more from a company that may have the history or may not be around tomorrow to support their warranty. Lastly, we are proud members of the Better Business Bureau. Our rating is A+ and we intend to keep it that way. We would love to have you visit our beautiful office/showroom which conveniently located at 3148 Market Street just east of downtown at the intersection of the 15 and the 94. Our office is a old 1915 craftsman home that we carefully restored and converted into an office about 10 years ago. It is one of the finest restored original craftsman buildings in San Diego and we would be delighted to show you around.
