Berks Ridge Company was founded in 1982 by Richard Kirkpatrick and has evolved from a builder of large custom homes to one of the Delaware Valley’s larger and most respected commercial Construction Management firms.

Richard’s background in hands-on masonry construction provided the foundation for growth into the construction of custom homes in Montgomery County, PA. One of Richard’s satisfied clients asked him to manage the construction of a commercial project and so began the transition from a residential builder to the manager of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

Over the last thirty years, Berks Ridge has managed the construction of a wide variety of projects. While the majority of these facilities can be found in the suburbs of Philadelphia and southern New Jersey, Berks Ridge has also completed work in Delaware, Maryland, and New York. Through these many experiences, Berks Ridge has adapted to remain current with the rapid advances of methods and materials in the construction industry.

There is one thing that has not changed over the years and that is Berks Ridge’s commitment to quality and customer service. The company was founded on a dedication to serving our clients and treating our vendors with integrity. As a result, many of Berks Ridge’s clients are repeat clients and many of our vendors have been working with us since our inception. Further, in an industry that is known for personnel turnover, our average employee tenure is 8 years with many employees exceeding 20 years of service.

Of primary importance to Berks Ridge, is serving our customers to the best of our ability. We strive to be a valuable team member, working diligently to create an efficient construction process. It is our intention on every project to deliver a quality facility at a fair price and within the desired time frame, so every client becomes a repeat customer.
