What Clients (Like You) Are Saying:
“I would tell you choosing them was the best thing I’ve done in many years, and I wouldn’t have entrusted this building to this degree with anyone other than them.”
Frank G. Ditz, M.D, Owner of The Family Practice of Suntree and Viera
“RUSH’s dependability and commitment to quality made it easy for our team members to work with them on the Parrish Healthcare at Titus Landing and Parrish Healthcare at Port Canaveral projects. It was a pleasure partnering with a company that understands the complexity of a healthcare facility and is willing to address matters in an efficient and cost-effective manner. I would consider RUSH Construction, Inc. for any of our future needs and would highly recommend them for your project.”
Jeremy S. Bradford, Parrish Medical Center, Sr. Vice President -Operations and President – North Brevard Medical Support, Inc.
“RUSH Construction has provided my company with excellent construction and project management services over the past several years and three large projects. The construction of a new Honda and Buick/GMC dealerships simultaneously and the renovation of the Ford dealership all in Titusville, Florida. All projects were completed on schedule and at or under the expected budget. I would strongly endorse RUSH Construction for any future projects.”
Josh Norris, Owner, Ron Norris Honda, Buick/GMC/Ford
“When RUSH has done a construction project for us to allow us to grow and expand, the square footage that we’ve added to those Ys has allowed us to serve more people in the community and that’s what we’re all about at the YMCA.”
Dan Ickes – Executive VP of Operations, YMCA of Central Florida
“…a huge milestone for the project, the wall panel tilting, was expected to take two days, it was completed safely in one day! This is a monumental success! Congratulations to RUSH.”
Traci Just, Mechanical/Electrical Branch Kennedy Space Center, NASA
“Teamwork is a vital component and every one of RUSH Construction’s staff has been extremely accommodating in working with a variety of team players from NBMS and Parrish Medical Center. I do not believe we would have accomplished the early completion of The Children’s Center without RUSH’s efforts to make a cohesive team regardless of the obstacles facing us.”

Eduardo Rabel 's Bio
RUSH Construction founder, Eduardo Rabel, immigrated to America from Cuba when he was just 16 years old, as a part of Operation Pedro Pan. Rabel says that he was “born twice”: First in Havana, Cuba, and later at a refugee camp in Miami, Florida, where he lived for 7 months before moving to a boy’s home in Kentucky. He later put himself through college, married his college sweetheart, and ultimately fulfilled what we know of as the American Dream.
Before starting RUSH Construction, Rabel spent 15 years working for other general contractors. These experiences inspired him to create a company that would be fun for the employees, and yet able to exceed a client’s expectations. Thus, in 1984, RUSH Construction was born.
For Ed, the most memorable moment in RUSH’s history (since 1984) is the company’s sabbatical in 1996. “This period helped define our corporate culture and vision for the future, including the employee ownership program which will celebrate 15 years on Sept. 7, 2015.” RUSH’s employee ownership program was designed to add an element of succession to the business model, “a foundation for the next generation.”
Outside of work (Ed is now semi-retired), he enjoys building “unusual things”, whether raised platforms and tree houses, bottle fountains, or elevated planters. With a son, a daughter, and two grandkids in town, Rabel enjoys family get-togethers and entertaining his grandkids. “Some friends believe I make the best mojitos,” says Ed. “The kids know I make the best mango milkshakes and root beer floats. My wife handles the healthy foods!”

Timothy Scott Goerlich has worked as a project manager with RUSH Marine since July 2018. Goerlich manages all aspects of work for marine projects throughout Florida, assuring the safety, quality and production of all projects he is associated with.
Tim had previously worked with Tony Landry, President of RUSH Marine, for 12 years, and was approached with an offer to join him at RUSH Marine. “Stepping into a company that feels like a family-oriented, staff-focused company is such a refreshing change from the corporate setting of a large public company,” explains Tim. “The warm welcome I received, in addition to RUSH’s steadfast reputation, made me quickly feel proud to say I am with RUSH Construction, Inc. and RUSH Marine.”
Goerlich has been involved in all aspects of heavy/civil and highway construction since 1988. Entering the industry as a laborer, Tim worked his way up to field supervision, general superintendent, and eventually to project management.
Born and raised in northwest Pennsylvania, Tim spent four years in the Army Infantry, a dream he had had since childhood. He moved to Florida in the late 1980’s where he started his construction career. Married to his high school sweetheart since 1993, Tim and Sharon have traveled much of the coastline and visited many of the beaches and barrier islands from North Carolina to Florida. “We cannot be far from the ocean or intercoastal waterway; it has become a big part of our lives.”
Vince Pellitteri 's Bio
Based at RUSH Construction’s west coast office located at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida, project manager Vince Pellitteri maintains and enhances the company’s relationship with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and its clients.
“Through USACE, Vince manages multiple Task Orders containing numerous separate projects for several different military command centers at MacDill AFB. These projects enable the command and intelligence centers the ability to provide US divisions and Special Forces, the support structure they require to work and communicate in a safe and secure environment.”
“I am fortunate to have a team that I rely on, trust and respect; a team who has developed a special working relationship with USACE and all the commands for whom we work, one that is based on trust and mutual respect.”
Vince is convinced that RUSH is a “unique and blessed” organization, remarking on the “family oriented environment, camaraderie and the support from all levels within the company; both business and personal.”
“I’m very happy with my position at RUSH,” Vince stated. “This job comes with its challenges and pressures, but at the same time it’s remarkable, because working in this type of environment, there’s always something new to learn. Most of all, even though my responsibilities can be extremely demanding, and after many years in the construction industry, I can still get up in the mornings and look forward to going to work – what more could anyone ask for?”
Born and raised in South Florida, Vince currently lives on the east coast with his wife Cindy – though they split their time between there and Tampa. With one son and three step-children, and four grandchildren, one of Vince’s favorite pass-times is playing X-Box, going to high school functions such as lacrosse games and ROTC events, but ultimately just spending quality time with his family.
One of Vince’s personal goals is to get a bigger boat to go fishing with the family, which he enjoyed very much.

Finance & Accounting
David Dapore 's Bio
David Dapore started at RUSH in March of 2011, taking onthe role of Director of Finance and promoted to Vice President of Finance and Administration in 2015. Responsible for managing the accounting and finances of the company, David takes pride in knowing that he works for a company that cares about its employees and customers just as much as the bottom line.
During the economic downturn, and after 11 years with his former company, David was looking for other opportunities and RUSH had an immediate need for an experienced finance director. After a phone call with William (President, RUSH), David was in the door the next day. “When I first came to RUSH, I quickly realized this was not your average construction company,” says David. “I know many employees here say the same thing, but I can’t say enough good things about the people who work here and the atmosphere. The gentlemen at the top, Ed, William, and Paul, share a passion for life and construction that is unsurpassed and it’s contagious.”
When asked what his favorite RUSH Construction project to date is, David cites work the company has done on highly secure military buildings, as well as projects out at the Kennedy Space Center, as the most interesting to him. “Any job we do for NASA, whether it is just a maintenance project on an existing facility, or something more involved like the Mid-Course Radar Facility, is a part of something bigger – our country’s space program, and there is some immense pride in knowing you play a part in that program.”
A Florida native, David was born in Lakeland, but grew up in Lake Mary. He and his wife, Michelle, have been married since 2001, and have two young sons. He spends his free time hunting, fishing, and golfing. David enjoys sharing these activities with his 5-year-old, who is also beginning to develop a love of the outdoors.
David’s Favorite Construction-Related Quote: “Except in the middle of the battlefield, nowhere must men coordinate the movement of other men and all materials in the midst of such chaos and with such limited certainty of present facts and future occurrences as in a huge construction project… Even the most painstaking planning frequently turns out to be mere conjecture, and accommodation to changes must necessarily be of the rough, quick and ad hoc sort, analogous to ever-changing commands on the battlefield.” – Blake Construction Company v. C.J. Coakly & Co., Inc., 431 A.2d 569 (D.C. 1981)
