History

Built on a solid foundation

In 1984, Stewart Perry Construction began operations in Birmingham, initially focusing on the retail industry. While retail remains a stable portion of our business, in recent years, the company has expanded to other aspects of commercial construction.

Stewart Perry’s management team of building and financial professionals operates from a LEED certified headquarters situated on a 16-acre campus. Since our start 30 years ago, the company has provided building services in 23 states where we are either registered or hold an unlimited contractor’s license.

Single project customers are as important to the company as those with multiple project requirements in different geographic areas. Depending on the needs of the client, the company’s platform of delivery and services include Preconstruction Services, General Contracting, Design-Build, Construction Management (CM) and Civil Management.
