Double Jay Construction was founded in 1979 originally called Double Jay Excavating, doing work mainly as a utility installer for plumbing companies. In 1982 we decided to expand our services and enter the realm of general contracting. We remain a general contractor today with our offices in Englewood, Ohio. Over the years our resume has grown to include a wide variety of projects. The list below is representative of the variety of work performed:
Ceco pre-engineered steel buildings
Metallic pre-engineered steel buildings
Parks - We have completed many park projects throughout the Dayton area.
Conventionally constructed buildings: bricks and mortar are the time-tested method of construction. We have completed several banks, school additions, the Ohio State Highway Patrol Englewood Post and many more.
Site work is one of our strengths. We have the equipment, expertise and experience to complete the most difficult site projects. Our crews have completed major streetscapes for area cities and villages as well as the University of Dayton and Wright State University.
We are certified by Landscape Structures to install their play equipment. We also install Interkal bleachers.
We are committed to high quality construction and excellent working relationships with our customers.
