Scope Of Work
Excavate to uncover an existing 54” steel waterline in 3 different areas. Pipe was found to be coated in an asbestos containing tar, and immediately had to be removed. Pipe was then cut horizontally in half to allow the 48” HDPE liner to be pushed into the existing waterline. The steel sections removed were then welded back on, and access hatches were put in to allow the crew to grout the void in between the pipes. Site Owner: Erie County Industrial Development Agency
