Trunzo Building Contractors is a family-owned and operated company which has been in business continuously on the East End for almost 60 years. It was founded by Pat Trunzo Jr. in the early 1950's, and is now a 3rd generation company headed by Pat Trunzo III and his sons, Thomas and Steven.
We concentrate almost exclusively on high end, custom residential projects — both new construction and renovations. Combining generations of know how with excellent craftsmanship, we enjoy an unparalleled reputation for the quality and integrity of our work.
Having an exceptionally high standard of workmanship, together with the level of attention brought to a project has given us an opportunity to work with some of the most noted architects and designers, for clients who understand the value of excellence. Past and recent architects and designers on projects spanning from over 60 years have included Robert A.M. Stern, Thierry W. Despont, David Tosher Design Studio, Deamer & Phillips, John Saladino, Boris Baranovich and Francis Fleetwood.
We know that time is the ultimate test of a building. To meet this challenge and ensure the long-term satisfaction of our clients, we pay just as much attention to the engineering and science behind creating high performing structures as we do to the execution of architectural woodwork, cabinets and interior finishes. To achieve this level of quality, and assure only the most competent workmanship, we employ our own carpentry crews and engage only the most qualified subcontractors. The long tenure of our relationship with these tradesmen and their adherence to our standards results in a consistency of execution that is visibly superior and of proven durability.
We also operate our own millwork and cabinetry shop. This 8,000 square foot facility is well-equipped and allows us to produce custom architectural woodwork and casework, including paneling, custom mouldings, interior and exterior doors, one-of-a-kind windows, and a complete range of custom cabinetry — kitchens, bathroom vanities, shelving and other built-ins. We also produce exterior architectural woodwork and garden structures, including custom arbors, trellises, benches, fences and gates.
Although our reputation precedes us, the best way to recognize what we can bring to your project is to see our work first-hand.
