Alison Gorham's Bio
Alison serves as the Director of Wisconsin Market for McShane Construction Company and leads the firm’s Southern Wisconsin Regional Office. She joined McShane in 2012 and was promoted to her current role to provide management assistance in the design/build and general construction process for the firm’s Wisconsin operations.
Alison is responsible for managing projects and providing leadership for McShane’s assignments, specifically within multi-family, commercial and institutional markets. She contributes proven expertise in performing pre-construction evaluations, value-engineering research, review and confirmation of subcontractor bid submittals and construction efficiency studies. She possesses extensive experience working on adaptive reuse projects and with community-based organizations within urban settings.
Catherine Bressie, MCSE's Bio
As Director of Information Technology, Catherine is responsible for the management, strategy and execution of IT infrastructure. She ensures that appropriate technology and infrastructure is available to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. She develops strategic plans and risk management strategies to support the installation of technology products that enhance business performance.Catherine possesses 17+ years in IT, with over 14 years dedicated to McShane Construction Company. She has been instrumental in the implementation of new technologies and IT strategies nationwide to accommodate the rapid growth of the firm. As a result of several technology initiatives, Catherine has enhanced the mobility and productivity of construction personnel while cutting down on communication time – allowing McShane’s project teams to work with 100% efficiency from anywhere across the country. Charlie Stone's Bio
As Vice President & Regional Manager of McShane Construction Company’s Western Regional office, Charlie oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s regional activities. Joining McShane in 2015, he possesses over 30 years of experience in general business management, innovative team leadership, customer account management, labor relations and organizational capability and development.
Charlie is instrumental in the strategic planning process and offers a unique perspective that contributes to the streamlined integration of new construction with improved operations for McShane’s prospects and clients yielding higher productivity, operational savings and greater return on investment. He is a key contributor to the future growth of McShane’s construction operations within the Western Region. Charlie attended Liberty University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
Dan McShane, Esq's Bio
Dan serves as Chief Strategy Officer & General Counsel for The McShane Companies. In his role, he coordinates strategic planning and risk management strategies while overseeing the company’s legal matters on a national basis and provides in-house legal advice to the firm, offering guidance in the strategic decision-making process.
Dan previously served as an Associate in the Real Estate Department of Chicago-based Winston & Strawn, LLP. He attended Colgate University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology, and the University of Notre Dame Law School where he earned his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude.
Dave Meadows's Bio
Dave joined McShane Construction Company in 2013 to direct the pre-construction efforts for the Southeast Region. In his role, Dave oversees a team of pre-construction professionals and supports McShane’s comprehensive pre-construction requirements for numerous projects within the multi-family, industrial, office and healthcare markets. He is responsible for estimating, preliminary budgeting, the bidding process, procurement, maintaining relationships with the subcontractor community, value engineering, life cycle cost analyses, constructability reviews and project scheduling.
Through his due diligence, Dave helps lay the groundwork necessary to ensure that each McShane project, upon completion, is attractive, functional and cost-effective. Once a project is underway, his series of thorough evaluations provide the necessary information for effective decision making and overcoming challenges that can impact costs or schedule. Dave is recognized for his attention to detail that contributes to an effective pre-construction process on behalf of McShane. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Science from Auburn University.
David Rintz's Bio
As Vice President of Midwest Operations at McShane Construction Company, David leads a team of project professionals who are tasked with delivering high-quality construction assignments, from pre-construction to closeout, targeting the multi-family, senior housing and affordable housing markets. He is also responsible for pursuing and securing new construction assignments across the region.
Since joining McShane in 2004, David has demonstrated his expertise through achievements in numerous project undertakings. Dennis Rumshas, CRIS, SCLA's Bio
As McShane Construction Company’s Vice President of Safety and Risk Management, Dennis is responsible for verifying that safe working conditions are maintained on every McShane project site. He conducts periodic job site visits with the project superintendent and participates in all job site OSHA inspections and follow-up conferences.
Dennis offers over 15 years of commercial construction experience, serving in a variety of on- and off-site safety-related positions. He applies his extensive training and experience to consult with job site teams and advise on any unusual safety situations that may occur. He also oversees the filing of safety documents related to OSHA and AGC requirements and maintains the company’s Safety Manual that is implemented at each McShane job site. In addition, he manages ongoing safety training for the firm’s project management and field staffs. Dennis received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Illinois State University. He is a certified Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist and Senior Claims Law Associate.
Jeff Raday, PE's Bio
Jeff joined McShane Construction Company as Vice President in 1996 and was named President of the firm in 1998. Through 20+ years of service at McShane, Jeff has guided the firm’s growth into one of the nation’s leading design/build construction organizations.
His personal commitment to client satisfaction has contributed to McShane’s national reputation for construction excellence, resulting in a high percentage of repeat business.
Jeff oversees the firm’s national construction activities from its headquarters office in Rosemont, Illinois and four regional offices in Auburn, Alabama; Irvine, California; Phoenix, Arizona and Madison, Wisconsin. He is responsible for identifying new business expansion opportunities and providing ongoing strategic planning to support further growth within specific product types and geographic locales. Jim is a pivotal stakeholder in the strategic planning process and establishes and maintains many of the firm’s relationships with real estate developers, governmental officials, architects and other affiliated representatives of the real estate community. John is the President of McShane Construction. Since starting the business over 30 years ago, John has been living on the cape with his family, Gaile and Sean. His volunteer activities include the Jimmy Fund, Habitat for Humanity and the US Marine Corp League. John has a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and his M.Ed. from Springfield College.

As Director of Operations of the firm’s Southeast Regional Office in Auburn, Alabama, Ken is integral in the pursuit of new business opportunities and the management of the office’s construction assignments. He directly oversees the award, implementation and delivery process of project undertakings ensuring schedule and budget requirements are met. Ken’s vast experience within the industry provides McShane’s clients and projects an advanced degree of skill and managerial expertise resulting in numerous highly-successful assignments for various respected clients. Ken attended Auburn University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Building Science.
Mat Dougherty, PE 's Bio
As Executive Vice President & Regional Manager of McShane Construction Company’s Rosemont office, Mat oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s headquarters and Midwest Region and is a pivotal team member in the strategic planning process.
He contributes over 18 years of construction experience at the McShane organization with a focus on the multi-family residential and commercial construction markets.

Min serves as Senior Vice President & Regional Manager of McShane Construction Company’s Southwest Regional Office and oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm’s regional activities. He joined the firm in 1999 and distinguished himself through excellence in his project management and work ethic, resulting in the professional advancement to Vice President in 2016 and Senior Vice President & Regional Manager in 2020.

Scott Hoppa's Bio
Scott is an experienced construction professional with nearly 25 years of commercial and multi-family project experience in the Southeast and Midwest Regions.
As Senior Vice President & Regional Manager, Scott is responsible for the implementation of construction assignments within the multi-family, industrial, office and healthcare markets and for expanding McShane Construction Company’s presence within this geographical area. He has completed a wide range of projects for the firm including apartment communities, senior living, corporate headquarters, manufacturing and distribution facilities and office buildings for national, regional, and local clients.
Scott manages McShane’s Southeast Regional Office and oversees all pre-construction, design/build and design-assist services while supervising the project management and field operations for his team’s assignments. He also serves as McShane’s general contractor license qualifier for the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee and South Carolina. Tom Beres, PE's Bio
Tom joined McShane Construction Company in 2003 and has since risen to an executive position as Vice President. His detailed approach and unique understanding of the complex requirements for today’s industrial and commercial environments has made him a key resource in the firm’s design/build and general construction process within the warehouse/distribution, food processing, speculative industrial, light manufacturing and office sectors.
As Vice President, Tom leads the firm’s pursuit of industrial and office project undertakings throughout the Midwest Region and ensures that each assignment reaches a successful conclusion. Contributing 15+ years of construction experience, he serves as a point person and industry expert for the company offering insights to the multiple facets and complexities of industrial facilities. In addition, Tom is instrumental in fostering and maintaining working relationships and growing the firm’s presence and diversification in the Midwest. Vic Bishop's Bio
Vic joined McShane Construction Company in 1999 and offers over 25 years of extensive field expertise and on-site management experience. As Vice President – Field Operations, he manages McShane’s superintendents located within the Chicago area and the regional traveling superintendents who provide site supervision for projects throughout the midwest.
He is responsible for directing the field operations for the Rosemont headquarters’ diverse portfolio of project undertakings, including sizable multi-family residential, affordable housing and senior living communities, healthcare facilities, mixed-use assignments, office facilities and industrial buildings. Vic incorporates superior site management skills and a commitment to quality and safety for each McShane project. He regularly performs site visits to ensure that the firm’s high standards of construction are implemented and exceeded on each project.

Bob Galante, CPA's Bio
Bob is responsible for overseeing the finances of McShane Construction Company. He directs the firm’s overall financial planning process and manages the firm’s relationships with the financial community.
Furthermore, he oversees Construction’s treasury function and periodic financial reports to the Board of Directors and senior management team. He also directs the company’s risk management and insurance programs as well as the company’s human resources and technology departments. Bob is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Ellen Hilgendorf, CPA's Bio
As Vice President of Finance for McShane Construction Company, Ellen oversees the financial management and accounting functions for the firm, as well as manages the firm’s relationships with outside financial entities, including its bonding and insurance relationships.
With over 20 years of service at McShane, Ellen supervises a professional staff of accounting associates dedicated to processing the complex financial transactions that occur throughout the construction process. Ellen has been instrumental in the implementation of new procedures and strategies to accommodate the growing volume of financial and accounting matters for McShane on a national basis.
