CAM Construction is a local family owned construction manager providing award winning services to Maryland businesses and institutions since 1962.  The company was started by Angelo Munafo and two other partners.  He was president of the company until his death in 2001 when his son  M. Marc Munafo, assumed the position.

CAM possesses more than a half century’s experience in development, design and construction of commercial projects. CAM is fully capable of participating in projects of various sizes and contract types. We have served the private, public and non/profit sector, since the firm’s inception.

CAM ’s most important asset is our people.   We are a relatively small group of experienced professionals who have worked together at CAM on average for more than 20 years. Our experience covers virtually every type of educational, institutional and commercial structure. We proactively provide imaginative, cost effective solutions to complex construction and scheduling problem. In short, we spend an owner’s money as though it were our own.

The firm maintains an A-1 bond rating with a bonding capacity of $100 million, and a single project limit of $60 million.  We are a solvent and conservative firm with extremely well trained, experienced personnel who consistently and reliably perform our work to the highest professional standards.

CAM has consistently been honored for its construction excellence. The Associated Builders and Contractors Awards of Excellence judge a contractor primarily on an owner’s satisfaction with various criteria including management, cost control and overall quality in construction. CAM over the years has received close to 40 Awards of Excellence commendations.
