Scope Of Work

The first of two Tractor Supply Company stores we are building this year has wrapped up and is moving merchandise out the doors. As a retail construction contractor, Hilbers Inc. is the go-to builder for any size retail project. This store, and the one still under construction in Susanville, CA was Project Managed by Larry Hilbers. Anthony Hanner oversaw the daily tasks as the Project Superintendent.

Tractor Supply Co. was founded as a mail order tractor parts business in 1938, the first Tractor Supply Co. retail store was founded in 1939 in Minot, North Dakota. TSC is headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville. In 2004, when the company reported revenues of more than US$1.7 billion, Fortune magazine named Tractor Supply to its list of the 100 fastest growing businesses. As of March 29, 2014, Tractor Supply Company operated 1,308 stores in 48 states, as well as a website under the TractorSupply.com name.
