Boyd Jones Construction was founded in 1924 in Omaha, Nebraska by W. Boyd Jones, an experienced contractor originally from Dallas, Texas. Mr. Jones specialized in industrial and commercial construction, building such notable projects as the 22-story Adolphus Hotel in Dallas and the 17-story Anheuser Busch corporate office in St. Louis.
Mr. Jones quickly became involved in the burgeoning construction of downtown Omaha. Early projects included the Missouri Pacific Freight Terminal, and the Corey-McKenzie building in Omaha’s Old Market area.
