Lincoln Crossing Elementary School is a 55,647 square-foot facility on 11.3 acres that serves 600 students. Design features emphasize a learning experience exploring a curriculum of science, culture, environment, technology and wellness. Specialized indoor and outdoor labs are located at pivotal entry, circulation and focal points. The school design exceeds the state energy requirements by 22%. Features of the energy-saving design include high performance HVAC and lighting systems, an energy efficient building shell, sustainable building materials, day lighting, deep overhangs and high-tech glazing.
