Andrew J. Halverson's Bio
Andrew’s skill set is vast and multi-disciplined. He has a strong background and experience in zoning, planning, Tax Incremental Financing (TIF), and grassroots initiatives. As the former Mayor of the City of Stevens Point, he led various community partnerships which completely reenergized the city’s downtown through a new market square, relocation of a college, and hundreds of jobs coming to Stevens Point. For Ellis’s clients, he assists with zoning issues, tax incentives, and marketing to help owner’s see their project through the governmental processes. Andrew is also responsible for administrative oversight of the company.
Community involvement is key to his success. He has been actively involved with area Chambers of Commerce, University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point (UWSP) Alumni Association, Central Wisconsin Alliance for Economic Development (Centergy), the Saint Michael’s Hospital Ministry Health Care Board, UWSP Foundation, Youth Area Football, and many other associations and areas of service.

Erik C. Carlson's Bio
Ellis Construction is a family-owned business and as a third generation owner, Erik grew up in the construction industry. He began working for the company during the summers “swinging a hammer” and learning first-hand the high-quality expectations of Ellis. He joined the company full-time after college. From working in the field to estimating and project management, Erik is actively involved in all aspect of the construction business. Erik serves as Chief Administrative Officer of Ellis Construction
Having grown up in the area, Erik is involved in many organizations to help the community including the Portage County Business Council, Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, UWSP Business Advisory Council, Stevens Point Eco-Municipality Task Force, and others. These relationships along with his business acumen have helped to continue the growth of the company.

Brandon Kohls's Bio
Brandon’s years of construction industry experience have given him a broad estimating knowledge and expertise. He has developed strong, positive relationships with subcontractors and suppliers throughout the area. He has estimated projects in a wide array of fields including healthcare, education, government, retail, religious, and recreational facilities.
Value Engineering (VE) for a project is one of his strongest skills. Drawing on his industry relationships, Brandon utilizes a team approach to get the best value for the owner.

Jason Wilatoski's Bio
Jason started with Ellis as an intern and became a full-time employee once he completed his degree. He grew up helping his father with his custom cabinetry business. Through college, he designed and built cabinetry to order. He has over 15 years of general construction experience.
Estimating provides him an opportunity to review and evaluate plans and to look for the details that make the project unique. Site visits provide additional information ensuring that nothing has been left out of the plans. Architects and owners are appreciative of his attention to detail, so there are no surprises in the cost of the project.

Joe Leaver's Bio
Joe joined Ellis having recently completed his college degree but with many years of construction experience. Projects he has worked on include large national retail stores, industrial, and educational facilities. He has strong analytical skills and experience that provides a smooth path for construction by careful planning and looking for potential areas that could slow construction long before they become a problem.

Pat Pierce's Bio
Pat has over 10 years of experience in the construction industry including being the guy in the field hammering the nails, to managing a jobsite, and now managing the project. This from the ground-up background gives him a complete picture of what it takes to create a successful project. Building a team with the different trades, suppliers, architect, engineer, and owner to share ideas and information is one aspect of what Pat does on all projects.

Tim Kreft's Bio
Tim's supervisory skills make him one of the most popular and efficient superintendents. He maintains good working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers while keeping projects moving on schedule. He has a wide range of project experience including new construction and renovations in education, government, healthcare, retail, and industrial industries. He is also an instructor for Associated General Contractors for the Supervisors Training Program.
