Scope Of Work
As a growing community bank, The Pineries Bank chose Ellis Construction as the design-build contractor for an addition and renovation of their headquarters. The construction consisted of a multi-phase addition of just over 11,000 square feet on three levels. This project was targeted to coincide with the celebration of their 20th anniversary. It was imperative that the work and design kept and complemented the rustic log cabin feel of the existing bank, with attention to detail through a commercial eye.
The main level consists of a new lobby with expanded teller space as well as executive offices including a seamless tie into the existing lobby area. The open and bright space allowed for 26 foot ceilings complemented by a curving balcony and grand staircase that serves the main boardroom and conference room on the second level. Additionally, based on the original field stone fireplace, the elevator shaft was faced with new field stone to create a focal point for the south façade of the bank. The term “firevator” was coined by the project team. Wood from trees on site is slated for reclamation for an interior sign to house a carved logo of the bank at the main entrance.
