Scope Of Work

We always sleep a little better at night knowing we had a job well done. On this one, we could have kicked off our shoes and got some shut eye right on the job site, because this one included a full hotel! Zzz.

We exceeded the expectations for Love's Hospitality and Marriott. Our crew worked in a remote market over an hour east of Dallas, and we knew we had a tough task ahead of us when we got there. But the Herd took the bull by the horns and got ahead of every challenge. Something we meticulously control is the quality of our Vendor Partners. We hired only the best. However, we quickly hit a few challenges that were out of our control: Soil problems. 

The pad-ready site required over-excavation and more concrete than we planned, but we were determined to not let this delay our 12-month schedule. We didn’t let the multiple plan revisions get in our way either. This just meant innovation and adaptability on our part would be key to getting through some of those rough patches. This project is a true testament to our team’s commitment to Building Better!

We had 74 rooms and numerous amenities to get just right, so our Client Partner could impress their first-time patrons, and hopefully return patrons. The indoor pool, fitness center and business center are standards for a Fairfield Inn, but the bar and meeting room combination with an electronic tri-fold door to separate the two spaces is a new concept. This is the first bar for Fairfield Inn, and we think this concept is so slick, it's definitely going to catch on.
