VCC Construction

Bill serves as Chief Operating Officer for VCC. Bill has worked for over 30 years with the Company and has worked his way up to COO from various positions across the field and operations. Bill enjoys playing golf in his free time.

Brad serves as Chief Financial Officer for VCC. In 1994, Brad decided to leave public accounting for the private sector and started working for VCC as Assistant Controller. He continued to work in project management at the Company and was promoted to CFO in 2003. Since 2010, Brad has been an active member on the Baptist Health Foundation Board and has served as their Chairman. Brad earned his BSBA in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He enjoys cycling, duck hunting and fly fishing.

As Senior Vice President Brian Core has the overall responsibility of keeping the job within budget, on schedule and with the quality the owner deserves. Brian’s experience in estimating costs, customer analysis, management and problem solving are the driving force behind the successful completion of the client’s project.

Derek is Managing Director for VCC. Derek has worked in various facets of the Company, from project management to business development and marketing. Prior to VCC, Derek worked in San Francisco with Blackrock in their Real Estate Private Equity Division. Derek earned his BS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He enjoys golf, fishing, writing and music.

As VCC Vice President, I oversee the day-to-day management of projects for our Houston and South Texas offices. My goal is to provide our clients with the quality end product that they deserve while staying within budget and delivering on schedule.
 

John serves as Senior Vice President of Operations. Prior to his time with VCC, John worked at Summit Interior Construction working on metal framed buildings, office, retail and medical interiors and exteriors. He started at VCC as a Project Engineer and Assistant Superintendent, and worked his way up to Superintendent, and General Superintendent. John enjoys desert power sports, cars (anything involving speed), fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

As President, I oversee the day-to-day management of projects for all eight of our offices. I have the overall responsibility of keeping our projects within budget, on schedule and with the quality the owner deserves.

Sam serves as the CEO and Chairman of VCC. At the age of 14 and the oldest of five brothers, Sam Alley moved from the small town near Jerusalem to Arkansas with his family.

While in college at the University of Arkansas, Sam began working in the construction industry. After graduation, he was hired as a project manager in 1979 at Pickens Bond Construction Company. Inspired by his father, who was an entrepreneur, Sam co-founded VCC in 1987 and is now recognized as one of the top engineering and construction professionals in the United States. Under his guidance, VCC is consistently listed in the top 100 contractors by the Engineering News Record, largest contractor in Arkansas, and recognized as the largest retail contractor in the Country.

Donna is Director of Human Resources for VCC. Prior to joining the VCC team, she worked as HR and Payroll Manager for TCBY, and Payroll Manager for Fairfield Industries. She has been with the VCC team since 2001. Donna earned her Associates in accounting from University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton and enjoys sightseeing and traveling in her free time.
