Kevin and his husband, Tony, purchased the Santa Rosa FASTSIGNS franchise in March of 2014 and opened a second location in Petaluma in December of that same year. After working in financial services in New York City for nearly 25 years, Kevin moved to the Bay Area in 2009 to join the management team of a San Francisco - based nonprofit. He fell in love with Sonoma County, and left the nonprofit in 2013 to explore opportunities closer to his home in Petaluma. Operating a FASTSIGNS franchise was the opportunity that was too good to pass up. So good, that he purchased a Petaluma family-owned sign business to add to his FASTSIGNS operations in June of 2016.
When he is not trying to figure out the sign business, Kevin is active in his local church and sings in the Sonoma Valley Chorale and Vally of the Moon Chamber Ensemble. He chairs on the Sonoma County Commission on Human Rights, an appointed position representing southern Sonoma County. He is also on the Steering Committee for the Sonoma County Community Foundations’s LGBTQI+ Giving Circle. Kevin serves on the Board of the Petaluma Area Chamber of Commerce and has participated in the Leadership programs in Petaluma (2015) and Santa Rosa (LSR33 - Best Class Ever). He is also happy to be a member of The Referral Machine - a Santa Rosa based BNI chapter.
