Scope Of Work
The scope of this project is comprised of a new seven-story building totaling approximately 16,000 square feet that will as a Tactical Fire Training Facility for the of Chesterfield.
General construction consists of a combination of reinforced cast-in-place concrete and concrete unit masonry. The fourth and fifth floors each have rooms that are thermal lined for fire protection and feature custom equipment by Draeger that allows for simulated fires. The windows and doors are constructed of heavy duty steel for training purposes. The building also has numerous scupper openings to drain the building. This building is one of only a few of its’ kind that also features a passenger elevator.
