Our Story

Founded in 1968, Mark-A-Lot has grown to be one of the largest pavement marking and maintenance contractors in New England and a clear industry leader in repeat business. Work with us and you will see why customers trust us to listen and take care of their needs every time.

Fred Foley founded Mark-A-Lot in 1968 and has always had the motto of “Putting Customers First”. Fred’s business sense has proven to be his most valuable asset as it has helped him mold Mark-A-Lot, Inc., for the last 45 years, into one of the New England area’s industry leaders.

Following in his father's footsteps, David Foley has been working at MARK-A-LOT since he was 10 years old. David's 30 years of experience in the pavement maintenance and marking industry and his passion for customer service is rivaled only by that of the company founder. David believes in hard work, quality and a firm business code of ethics. It is common to find David at the office at 4:00 am and manning a snowplow or other piece of equipment. David's business philosophy is simple: business growth and reputation, one satisified customer at a time.

Mark-A-Lot's primary focus is to achieve best-value results for every customer. Mark-A-Lot will lay out your parking lots and roadways to ensure you get the maximum number of spaces and ease of traffic flow using top-of-the-line equipment and paints.
