Founded in 1991, Sirina Fire Protection Corp. is one of the Northeast area’s largest full-service fire protection contractors, designing and installing automatic fire sprinklers, fire suppression and alarm systems, CCTV and mass notification systems for many of the region’s largest construction and reconstruction projects.  Based in Garden City Park, the company has achieved remarkable growth in a relatively short time. Sirina has enjoyed consistent annual growth every year since its inception. What’s more, the firm’s reputation is such that it now has a bonding capacity in excess of $50 million – a critical asset for a company seeking the very largest projects.

Sirina has earned a reputation as one of the few contractors capable of handling major installations. In fact, with a workforce ranging from 200 to 250 professionals at any given point in the year, Sirina has changed the way many developers and general contractors assign fire suppression projects. Where once a renovation project in a multi-story building might require a separate contractor for each life safety system, Sirina’s size and expertise in fire sprinklers and suppression, alarm, security, and other life safety systems, has made it possible to assign major installations to a single contractor… greatly simplifying project management.

Some of Sirina’s largest contracts include fire suppression systems for American Express, Hofstra University, Jacob Javits Center, Pace University, New York Hospital, Astoria Combined Cycle Energy Plant, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, the International Arrivals building at JFK Airport, and the new JFK American Airlines terminal – considered at the time to be the largest single fire suppression contract in New York.
