Unusual Designs History

Our journey started in March 2000 in Yorktown in a small quaint showroom. There we had great success and soon outgrew our space and relocated to our present location, 700 City Center Blvd in Newport News. Here we have a 3000 SqFt. showroom with a wide variety of furniture, lamps, accessories and full line of fabrics and wall coverings. In 2009 we became the only Hunter Douglas Gallery on the Peninsula.

We continue to grow and have great success, but that only comes with our commitment to keep up on all the latest trends within the industry, relying on the work we do and always giving our clients the best design ideas available.
