Linda A. Rotunno, the Agency Principal of Rotunno Insurance Agency oversees the large Commercial Property and Casualty Lines of the agency. She also mentors employers and others in having an understanding on the requirements of Californias very complex Workers Compensation system.
Ms. Rotunno began her career in the insurance industry in 1965 working for the Hartford Insurance Group, where she received multi-line education & training in commercial and personal lines insurance. 1969 Ms Rotunno was employed with Ohio Farmers Insurance Co in the capacity of a commercial lines underwriter. In 1971 she transition into the independent agency system, where she managed and maintained all personal and commercial account placements, claims administration, and personnel. Her hard work and customer loyalty gave her the opportunity to open her own agency in 1981. Ms. Rotunno quickly distinguished herself as no nonsense customer advocate who worked extensively for employer education and legislative reforms affecting both the consumer and the insurance industry. Her experience in the field of Workers Compensation and her grass roots work with employers and the California Industrial Leadership Council in the early 1990's earned her the respect and recognition of many leading figures, such as former President Bill Clinton, former California Governor Pete Wilson, 59th District Assemblyman Dick Mountjoy, Minority Whip Senator Newton Russell and Charles Bader, Governmental Relations.
Ms. Rotunno was born, raised and educated in the San Fernando Valley (SoCal). She has earned her Workers Compensation Claims Professional & Certified Disability Management designations. She is also actively involved in sponsorship of several youth sports teams and as Team Manager and Coach of the California Flames (girls softball) and Encino-Sherman Oaks Softball Candy Crushers.
