Jimmy Severson's Bio
Construction is a dynamic industry with a lot of moving variables, I enjoy the challenge of pulling all of the pieces together and find it very rewarding to provide an exceptional experience that exceeds our clients expectations. In my free time I enjoy cycling and the outdoors with my beautiful wife and four boys. Aviation has also played a huge role in who I am and I continue to be an active aviator and member of the aviation community.
Tom Severson's Bio
I have always had a passion for building things. Spending countless hours in my childhood basement I would dream up the next project and dive into the process of making it a reality. The same desire to create has led me to the construction industry and afforded me the opportunity to do what I love on a daily basis. When not at work, I enjoy all things outdoors with my wife, Kelsey. In the winter, we'll be at the mountain or traveling. Conversely, in the summertime you can find us on the river or in the air, enjoying all the Northwest has to offer!

After being in the equipment rental industry for 15 years, construction seemed like a natural fit. Now that I’ve been with Centrex for almost a year, I know I made the right choice in choosing the construction industry. It’s fascinating to watch a project evolve from start to finish and I’m proud to be a part of the Centrex team. In my free time, I enjoying gardening, reading, camping, spending time with friends and family, and of course spending time with my 4-yr-old black lab, Finnigan.

Dave Merklin's Bio
I started with Centrex Construction in 1981 and worked for them until 1989. I began as a framer, then worked as a supervisor on various jobs such as schools, fire stations, and apartments. In 1989 my wife and I started our own business, Cedar Contractors, where we worked on residential and commercial jobs. During those years we raised three beautiful children, two boys and one girl.
In 2012 I returned to Centrex Construction as a superintendent and I'm happy to be a part of the Centrex team again. I have always loved putting buildings together and seeing the finished product.

I have worked in the construction industry nearly 29 years. Starting out as a carpenter's apprentice and working my way through the ranks. I have worked as a foreman, superintendent, and project manager. I finally found my calling as a project estimator. I pride myself as the ability to bring "real world" experience into project estimation. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife, holding backyard BBQ's, and working on what seems to be never-ending home projects.

Jeff Schmidt's Bio
Growing up in the construction world, my Christmas, spring, and summer breaks were all spent either working for my dad's company or working for Centrex. As time passed, I would work for Centrex part-time on different projects, but it wasn't until two years ago that I thought about calling Centrex my home. When I'm not on the job-site I enjoy spending time with my amazing wife and four crazy kids.

Kevin Reed's Bio
I have grown up in and around the construction industry. My grandfather on my mother’s side of the family started and ran a successful residential and commercial custom landscape and design company. My grandfather on my father’s side started and ran a successful framing business. Needless to say, I was always learning. Most summers were spent helping Grandpa frame room additions, remodels, or just digging a ditch. I grew up around family businesses so it is refreshing to work for a family business and to know relationships are more important than money. It’s our relationships that make us successful, not our bank accounts.

Martin Davis's Bio
Starting back to the days of picking up scrap wood around my father’s jobs sites, the construction way of life has been my path. Hard to believe it has now been 41 years since starting this journey as a carpenter and along the way, it has been my pleasure of working with some of the very best construction minds in the business. To me, the ultimate satisfaction lies in the building of relationships that can stand the test of time, much like the projects we construct for our clients. Down time is spent playing the gentleman farmer out in the wine country of Yamhill where I live with my wife, Dana.

As a building construction major at Benson Polytechnic, my interest in construction began at an early age. After graduating I immediately started working in the field as a laborer and over the years worked my way through the ranks to become an estimator and project manager. I find collaborating with clients and helping them through the entire construction process from start-up to completion very rewarding. When I am away from the office I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with my five children and wife, Kaitlyn.

I began my career in construction more than 30 years ago, working as a general laborer while still in high school in Alaska. I’ve worked on a wide range of projects from industrial projects in the oil fields of Alaska’s North Slope to corporate campuses. I enjoy seeing a project through from its inception to completion, which allows me to really take ownership. I began my career from the trenches, as a form setter. As I gained experience in the industry, I quickly moved up into construction management. Over the years I have found that I really enjoy working on site and interacting with subcontractors, architects, and owners. I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, large and small, including residential and commercial. I take pride in managing projects from conception to completion. My wife and I have two children and a goofy granddaughter. As a family we enjoy spending time together at the coast. Russ Petricko's Bio
I believe that if you have a passion for something you should surround yourself with those who share in it. I started working in the construction industry before I was out of high school and knew this was my passion. Soon after graduating I started a painting company that grew to become a general contracting firm. As a builder, we get to build more than just buildings; we get to build friendships! Seeing the faces of my customers along the way and helping them turn their dreams into reality makes for lasting friendships. This same passion should be felt in the team that works with you on these projects. Centrex shares this passion for building but also in my values, goals, and positive outlook on life. My family is my passion, too, and enjoy exploring the outdoors, hiking, camping, and the occasional motocross with my wife and five children.

Jon Wenrich's Bio
Whether flying under-privileged youth in the Alaskan backcountry or partnering with local business leaders, I enjoy exploring and implementing solutions. The very nature of Centrex's business is incredibly invigorating because we are integrally involved in the visionary process, from an idea's genesis, to purposeful completion, and beyond. My favorite time in the project is not the signing day, rather the grand opening and subsequent anniversaries as the new accommodations fulfill their intended purpose of facilitating profitable operations. I love to hear peoples' stories and witness narratives being formed...therefore, I look forward to discovering solutions that are molded to your story and the storyline of your business.
