Scope Of Work
This Design-Build (D/B) project utilized the best performing green building technologies for the repair and replacement of the worn and failing roof components on this historic structure. The SOW included the complete tear-off and replacement of the building’s roofs with advanced technology and energy conserving green roofing systems. A cold applied SBS modified bitumen roof was applied to each area with either an applied cool roof coating; tray-system vegetative roofing; or utility-interactive membrane-integrated photovoltaic (PV) system (adhered to standing seam metal). The foundation for the roof is closed cell, faced, Polyisocyanurate board-insulation, providing as close to an R-50 insulation value as the existing building conditions permitted.
