Our Story

We aim to find and keep satisfied clients.
Being open and honest is our main objective.

Tyler Construction prides itself in treating all parties of the construction process fairly. We make sure that our sub contractors and suppliers are paid fairly and on time, which in turn allows us to receive good competitive pricing that will save the owner in the long run. Tyler has a successful track record of completing projects on time and within budget without sacrificing quality or the relationships established between architects, owners, and the subs and suppliers.

Walter S. Tyler founded the company in December of 1979.

Tyler Construction has seen a steady growth in volume since its inception. We have gone from a volume of several hundred thousand dollars to a current volume of over fifteen million per year. We anticipate this continuous, steady growth for the future without losing sight of our standards or the relationships that have gotten us this far.

We have been fortunate to work successfully with many state agencies, school districts, South Carolina National Guard, and Ft. Jackson Army Base. Completing many federal projects on Ft. Jackson has helped to keep Tyler Construction in good standing.
