Kenneth Schultz's Bio
As President of Shannon Construction Company, Ken is responsible for all contractual commitments and obligations at the corporate level. He is available to Building Owners, Owner Representatives, Project Managers, and the Shannon Project Team throughout the life of the project.
With over 30 years of project and construction management experience, including 14 years as President of Shannon Construction Company, he has completed over $2 billion of projects including bioscience, commercial, industrial, public works, distribution, retail, mixed-use, educational institutions, and hotels/resorts.
Ken's Construction Management training includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Purdue University. Memberships include the Construction Management Association of America, Better Business Bureau, and Mater Builder's Association.
Richard Amberson's Bio
Rich Amberson, Executive Vice President and Partner, contributes 25 years of experience in all facets of the construction industry, including healthcare, government, public and private industries. He demonstrates expertise in a myriad of construction skills, including contract and subcontract negotiation, coordination and tracking, scheduling, public agency requirements, quality assurance, safety, and communication. Rich's project profile includes jobs ranging up to $35 million.
Rich earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Cleveland State as well as numerous certifications in field construction management, Army Corp of Engineers QA/QC, and his OSHA 30 card. In addition to his education and experience, he also served in the United States Army.
Sandy Shaw's Bio
Sandy brings over 30 years of experience in multi-national corporations focused on service management, strategy development, human resources, finance and operations. For the past 7 years Sandy continues to expand her expertise in all areas of construction and has managed multiple construction projects. Sandy is a member of the executive team and leads the company's strategy development, human resource function, and marketing. She facilitates the Safety Committee and supports the safety program at Shannon Construction. Sandy coordinates process improvement projects such as new software purchases, workflow analysis, and field team meetings. Sandy earned her B.S. from Penn State and her Master's degree in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco.

Kevin J. Kilinsky's Bio
Kevin J. Kilinsky, Sr. Estimator/Project Manager, with 25 years of experience in all facets of design and construction in both the public and private sectors. His project profile includes jobs that range up to $60 million. Kevin’s education includes a bachelor's degree from California University of PA, a graduate degree in Business Leadership and Ethics from Duquesne University and a graduate degree in Legal Studies from West Virginia University.
Kim Perla's Bio
Kim Perla, Senior Estimating Assistant and Document Specialist, contributes 19 years of experience to the Shannon Team. A proven and integral member of the Estimating Department, Kim invites, prepares and tracks all bidding for Shannon.
Rob Means's Bio
Rob brings over 25 years of estimating and construction experience to Shannon. He has successfully estimated projects from heavy highway to higher education, major medical facilities to casinos, and manufacturing plants to retail plazas. When he is not at work Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and three children as well as golfing, hunting, and fishing. Rob earned his BS in Civil Engineering form Penn State University.

Eric Waters's Bio
Eric brings a decade and a half of experience in the industry where he worked extensively on large Government Construction projects ranging from extending the runway at Reagan National Airport and installing the first EMASS system to Design/Bid/Build of the JAG offices on Quantico MCB, and Range Complex for the FBI Academy to Space Fence Satellite Debris Tracking Project in the South Pacific, Poland and Western Australia with contracts up to $2.2 billion and over $4 billion in total over the course of his career. Eric also served our country for 18 years in the Army as a flight medic - combat medic transitioning to Contracting Command later in his career. Eric earned his BS in Biology, MPA/ID from Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and is currently pursuing an MBA from Georgetown. Licenses and Certifications include the completion of the QCM course from USACE, EM 385-1.1 from USACE, OSHA 30 Extensive FARS and DFARs training and is Lean Six Sigma trained.
Jack Bruce's Bio
Jack offers over 40 years of industry experience to valued clients and partners from property development to ground up construction ranging to $250 million. His tenure includes a variety of successful projects where he performed in critical leadership roles from owner’s representative to Senior Project Manager. A few of his projects across the US include CONSOL Headquarters, Mylan World Headquarters, Dick’s Sporting Goods Headquarters, and multiple higher education institutes, multi-family, hospitality, and medical facilities.
Mary Haffner's Bio
Mary Haffner brings 18 years of construction experience to her projects with expertise in occupied renovations. Mary is Shannon's primary project manager for all Pittsburgh International Airport projects and exemplifies our motto of Clients for Life as she has been working with the airport for nearly 20 years. Her projects have ranged up to 800,000 and she has proven to produce outstanding quality with tedious time frames and budgets. Mary has completed to the clients satisfaction and appreciation numerous restaurant build-outs, interior office renovations and retail spaces.
Nick Rosky's Bio
Nick Rosky, Project Manager for Shannon Construction since January of 2020, adds five plus years of experience in a combination of project management and estimating. He has completed projects in the medical, higher-education and religious fields as well as multi-family and big box build outs with full renovations. Nick earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in Construction Management. He also has his EIT, LEED GA and ICRA-8 certifications.
Patrick Bruce's Bio
Patrick Bruce brings five years of Commercial Project Management experience to his client’s projects. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Engineering Technology Management specializing in Construction Management.
Patrick is experienced in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Sage and Planswift. With his technical knowledge, he is also experienced in retail, medical and office renovation/build out projects. His role as Project Manager with Shannon Construction has allowed him to significantly build upon his already strong skill set and to concurrently manage multiple million plus dollar projects on time, within budget and to client satisfaction.
Tammy Chiesa's Bio
Tammy Chiesa has proven vital to the success of numerous Shannon Construction projects including several for US Steel and Pittsburgh International Airport. Tammy offers ten plus years of experience and dedication to the clients, Shannon Team and her projects. She supports five project managers in the preparation of proposals, invoicing, and all project documentation. With an Accounting degree she has fully immersed herself in the maintenance of her project’s fiduciary components, as well. Tammy has received recognition from clients for her hard work, attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to “see the big picture” in conjunction with a time is of the essence methodology to see projects through from conception to close out.

Angela Kirk's Bio
Angela has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry and 12 years management of Shannon Construction Accounting and Finance. She offers an array of skills including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, managing cash flow, and cash flow forecasting.
Angela manages internal control system, internal audit review,
recommends areas for improvement both financial and operational,
develops and establishes new policies and procedures. Additionally,
Angela manages Shannon Construction’s IT activities and is
an
expert in all of our software products which include integrated Sage
software for accounting, project management, and estimating. Angela is
a mentor to Shannon’s accounting team members.
Memberships include Construction Financial Management Association and TUG, the users group for Sage Construction and Real Estate Solutions.
Cecelia Kruly's Bio
Cecelia commenced her career in the construction industry right out of college working with a small up and coming construction firm. Her accounting degree aided in understanding the nuances of the construction platform paperwork; from accounts payables to billings and payroll. As the company grew, expanding from commercial construction to include the heavy highway and industrial sectors, her duties and responsibilities increased. Becoming a project account, Cecelia wore many hats and assisted the project manager and coordinator with the requirements necessary to complete the project. Cecelia now shares her knowledge and experience with the Shannon Construction accounting team.
Jennifer Knox's Bio
Shannon Construction's Account Manager, Jennifer Knox, contributes over ten years of construction industry accounting experience fully utilizing her Accounting degree from University of Phoenix.
She owned and operated her own consulting business for six years primarily working with small start up companies in the construction industry allowing her to gain the full cycle understanding of business accounting. Jennifer currently runs the field payroll as well as Accounts Receivable — billing and collection efforts.

Dawn Greene's Bio
Dawn Greene began her career in the construction industry in the late 90’s working on projects ranging from $100k to $36 million and in a variety of capacities from administration to project management. She has also worked across the United States to identify, purchase and develop properties for a big box corporation. With her BA in English and Master’s Degree in Leadership from Duquesne she also developed and presented in class, online, and WebEx trainings. Dawn currently works in both construction project administration and marketing.
Karyn Charlton's Bio
Welcome to the Shannon Team, Karyn Charlton! Karyn, Government Services Program Coordinator, brings over a decade of experience to her new position and has contributed to projects in heavy highway, inspections, bridge rehabilitation, and construction management services. A favorite project, PennDot’s Rapid Bridge Replacement, replaced hundreds of structurally deficient bridges throughout the Keystone State.
In her spare time Karyn enjoys spending her time outdoors hiking and camping with her husband and two daughters. Again, welcome to the team, Karyn! We’re excited to have you and look forward to all that you will accomplish with Shannon Construction.
Mike Kaminsky's Bio
Mike has over 34 years in the construction industry which include 25 years leading projects at Shannon Construction and five years as the General Superintendent. He demonstrates his expertise in all areas of construction ensuring exceptional on site project leadership by matching project scope and client needs to the ideal foreman for the job. He ensures quality assurance by auditing all job sites and coordinating effectively between the architects, designers, and foreman.
