Queens, New York, native Maureen Fritch was working as a registered
nurse on Long Island when she began dabbling in renovation projects.
Her success in developing, building and renovating residential
properties led her to open Fritch Construction in 1993 and E.
Electrical Contracting, LLC in 2004.
Over the years, Maureen has done a good deal more than establish a
profitable general contracting business recognized for its honesty and
integrity. She has broken new ground in the profession for women and minorities.
She is one of the founders and the president emeritus of the Women
Builders Council, Inc. (www.wbcnyc.org), which promotes construction
opportunities for women-owned businesses. Maureen assists member firms
in procuring opportunities and with legislative initiatives, advocacy
and mentoring. Numerous organizations have recognized her efforts and
the difference her work has made in the lives of many women.
