Jack Lautenschlager's Bio
A 1985 Purdue University graduate, Jack Lautenschlager's first job out of college was at the Indiana Department of Transportation in their research division. Just two years later, on October 22, 1987 (yes- he listed this off without any hesitation), Jack jumped right in at CCB as Steve Lankton's Assistant Project Manager.
Like many of our employees, Jack grew with the company. He's had many roles and titles since he began- Field Engineer, Superintendent, Project Manager, General Superintendent (on June 3, 1991), and Vice President of Field Operations- allowing him to gain experience and build the leadership skills that would eventually lead him to his current role as Chief Operations Officer.
Jack has one son (who's name is ironically, or not so ironically, Jackson) and two daughters, Olivia and Hannah with his wife Beverly. When he's not making people laugh at the office, which he does regularly, Jack enjoys to garden and read.
You never know when you might need some Jack Lautenschlager trivia, so here's a fun fact- He spent 20 years as an IndyCar racing official and loves the sport. He's also scary good at remembering exact dates of events, as you can see above.
Steve Lankton's Bio
A Purdue University graduate in construction engineering and management, Steve Lankton came to CCB in the fall of 1984 after gaining three years of experience in Peoria, IL. Taking over as President in 2002, Steve has been with the company through thick and thin and has truly seen thousands of projects through from start to finish.
Built on the historical foundations of being a family owned business, Lankton appreciates Charles C. Brandt Construction Company's history of placing a high value on its employees. His own experience and history with the company mirror much of what happens for every employee - staff are supported and encouraged to grow professionally through increasing opportunities for leadership and higher level responsibility. Steve says this corporate culture translates into the capacity to take good care of CCB customers.
Outside of his work at CCB, Steve enjoys photography, serving as the go-to dad to take shots of his daughter's lacrosse matches at University of Findlay in Ohio. He also serves as a Trustee of Property at St.Luke's United Methodist Church on the north side of Indianapolis.

Lindsay Fernandez's Bio
Beginning her CCB career as a summer intern in 1999, Lindsay Fernandez expected to get her feet wet in the industry, see what her true passions were and move on. Her experience has been so great however, that she decided to stick around-- and we are so glad she did!
Lindsay is LEED certified and responsible for a wide range of CCB’s projects. She has been actively involved in many of our residential jobs, many being multi-million dollar investments, but Lindsay tackles projects of all kinds. Commercial to retail to industrial, she has managed it all. From initial conversations with potential clients about their visions, to budgeting and bidding and eventually project completion, Lindsay is there every step of the way.
Lindsay resides in Carmel and is a mother to two boys that are crazy about sports. When she is not watching her boys on the field or on the court, she can be found practicing yoga. *Namaste*
