Scope Of Work

Pacific West Builders has just completed the design build renovations to a 12,000-square foot multi-purpose facility at the MCAS Camp Pendleton.

This project was a bit of a challenge as it required taking a maintenance facility and converting it to a multi-purpose facility for the Air Station that is to be used for training, presentations and awards, dances, movie nights, and other functions. The facility also included four classrooms for additional training facilities.

The renovations included new men’s and women’s restrooms, converting a maintenance bay into a multi-purpose room with an audio-visual system, installing new fire life safety systems to comply with the new occupancy requirements, a lighting control system so that the lights could be set at various pre- programmed settings for the various functions, and upgrades to the HVAC system. The furnishings, fixtures and equipment was supplied to accommodate various functions including training, awards and ceremonies, dances, movie nights and other functions.
