Joe Kulifay, President and owner of Bronco Excavating started off with a dump truck and backhoe installing septic systems. After the economy slowed down in Youngstown, Ohio, Joe packed up his bags and moved to Houston, Texas. With help from a booming Houston market and some elbow grease, Bronco was able to grow. After 5 successful years in Houston the market slowed down and Joe moved Bronco to Dallas. While riding a booming Dallas market Bronco continued to grow in the site preparation market. After 6 years, the Dallas market, too, began to slow down so Joe and his crew made the move to California. At the time California was also experiencing exponential growth which allowed Bronco to expand to over 80 employees. In 1992, as the California market started to slow down, Joe decided it was time to return to the Midwest and saw Cincinnati as a good place for Bronco to settle down and call home. Since 1992, Bronco Excavating has been a key player in the tri-state area using knowledge gained from other regions and markets.
