Scope Of Work

The Rotunda Building has two levels of below grade parking that has had persistent widespread leaks for years.  Leaks occurred primarily along the building perimeter, at plazas and at parking lot expansion joints.  Stafford Consulting Engineers was retained to perform a waterproofing evaluation.  Water testing was conducted to confirm water entry and soil excavations were performed to observe the installed condition of the existing below grade waterproofing assembly.  Stafford subsequently prepared plans and specifications based on our findings from the waterproofing evaluation. Contract administration and on-site construction observations were also performed under this contract.  The project included the removal and replacement of the existing below grade and plaza waterproofing membranes, plaza pavers, trees at planters, turf, associated overburden and plaza and parking lot expansion joint systems. Stafford Consulting Engineers worked closely with the construction manager and the contractor to ensure a successful and long lasting finished waterproofing system.
