Our Story

Ja-Ma Wellington has been in business under its current name and Ownership Since 1990. Ja-Ma Wellington was formed when two individual companies came together in an effort to build a strong electrical service provider in the area. Alberto Santos of Ja-Ma II Electrical Enterprises, Inc. and Stephen Wellington of Wellington Electric Company are the Owners and Operators of Ja-Ma Wellington Electrical Contractors, Inc. Together they have over 40 years of electrical experience in all aspects of the trade.

Ja-Ma Wellington is a full service electrical contractor handling Commercial Service and Construction, Parking Lot Lighting Relamping, Residential Service and some lite Industrial Service.  We have over 10 employees dedicated in the field as well as in the office to handle all of your electrical needs. We prefer to keep our company in check with the current economic fluctuations to maintain the level of personal service and quality of work you expect.

Ja-Ma Wellington is a Non-Union/ Open Shop electrical contractor. We are a Minority Owned/MBE Certified contractor and have Minority/Set-Aside Status with the State Of Connecticut Department of Transportation, the Department of Economic Development and are an Equal Opportunity Employer.  We are fully licensed and insured and have the ability to bond any project we work on.

We are members of CBIA (Connecticut Business and Industry Association)and CECA (Connecticut Electrical Contractors Association).
