Scope Of Work

Dakota Intertek Corp. completed the demolition of two (2) three-story commercial/residential Northwestern Mutual buildings in May, 2015. The Kuesel Buildings demolition project is part of the New Office building program being undertaken by Northwestern Mutual in downtown Milwaukee.  The buildings were in close proximity to a parking structure just to the south, which remained intact. Security fencing was used to protect the public way and the whole site was back-filled and topped off with 4” of ¾” TB to complete the rough grade. The site is now ready for development of a parking lot or parking structure depending on how Northwestern Mutual wishes to proceed. The project went very smoothly and was finished ahead of schedule. The Kuesel buildings are Phase I of a multiple phase demolition and redevelopment plan for the entire city block.  Because of our excellent performance, Dakota Intertek Corp. has been invited for the opportunity to work with Northwestern Mutual in successive phases of demolition.
