Scope Of Work
Dakota Intertek Corp., along with its joint venture partner Kepa Services Inc., completed the contract to Design and Construct a 10,744 sq. ft. Joint Armed Forces Reserve Center in Sioux Falls, SD, and provided renovations to the adjacent existing Army Reserve Training Center for an approximate total of 20,000 square feet. The Design Build project operated under a “fast track” method, with construction initiated while interior mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (MEP), fire suppression, and other systems were being designed. The Kepa Dakota JV incorporated the strict USACE/NAVFAC energy efficiency and sustainable design into the project. The Kepa Dakota JV provided furnishings, equipment, and other OMAR items.
