Scope Of Work

Prepare the specifications for a spare Generator Step-up (GSU) transformer including protection scheme, location of high voltage and low voltage connections, control cabinet and radiators; required dress and tests; also prepared a complete engineering package for replacement of an existing GSU and use of the spare unit to minimize the time required to place the spare unit in use.

Provided electrical engineering designs for pump and motor controls and switching relocation.

Provided construction management and oversight of chiller and other equipment maintenance

Prepared the design package for the relocation of ammonia supply lines to the HRSGs at the Gateway Generation Station, including P&ID of the double contained ammonia piping, civil/structural design for new walkway and cross over stairs, trench and pipe support structures, electrical single line diagram and conduit layout with leak detection alarms.

Performed electrical and civil design engineering for installation of intake water screens at the Humboldt Bay Generating Station.

Performed mechanical design and construction drawings for new water connection and additional valves at the Fuel Cell/Water connection at San Francisco State University.

Prepare documentation for Hydro Generation California ISO meter replacement project including modifications to three-line diagrams, ISO metering certification.
