Scope Of Work
Abbott Northwestern Hospital will build out a 43,000 square foot neuroscience unit on the sixth floor of the Heart Hospital to accommodate the growing number of neuroscience patients. The space, designed by HGA, will include 13 neuro intensive care rooms along with 43 general neurology beds. The intensive care unit will offer care for those who are being treated for strokes, brain tumors, and other brain-related conditions. The neuroscience unit will bring all neurology services to one location, offering comprehensive services at one location. The project is scheduled for completion in late 2019.
