Dan Adams's Bio
Since joining the company as senior project manager in 2011, Dan quickly rose to the top of the management team, proving his ability to deliver our client’s projects on budget, on schedule and with the highest of quality.
Dan has completed some of the company’s most complex projects including Landmark Hospital, an 86,676-square-foot, 50-bed, long-term care facility in Naples.
A LEED Accredited Professional and Florida licensed general contractor, the Fort Myers native earned his bachelor’s degree in building construction from the University of Florida. Dan has also earned Healthcare Construction Certification from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering and Infection Control Certification.
Dan is very enthusiastic about supporting his community. Dan has served on the board of directors for the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce since 2011 and is currently the director of the Chamber Foundation. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Fort Myers, Real Estate Investment Society and United Way Allocations committee. Dan has also been recognized by Gulfshore Business as a “40 Under 40” recipient.
Mark Stevens's Bio
Mark Stevens, a resident of Lee County since 1974, founded Stevens Construction in 2003.
Mark returned to Fort Myers after graduating from the University of Florida to build his family, career and his business. A State of Florida Certified General Contractor, Mark established the company after 14 years with another construction firm.
A 30 year construction veteran, Mark leads all operations and business development for Stevens Construction. He has created a unique, construction management process proven successful with all of Stevens Construction’s clients, allowing the company to earn 80% of its business from repeat or referred clients.
Mark Stevens is a proven leader in the company and throughout the community. Mark has served on the Board of Directors of the Lee Building Industry Association since 2006. He led board as President in 2009 and 2010. Mark has also served as a board member for the Horizon Council since 2006. Mark has previously served on the board of directors for Builders Care, Page Healthcare, Inc. and JDRF.
Mark has served as the corporate chairman for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s (JDRF) Walk to Cure in 2012 and 2013, leading Stevens Construction in fundraising and positioning Stevens Construction as the highest corporate fundraising team since 2012.
Mark has also been recognized in the media as a “40 Under 40” recipient by Gulfshore Business, “Top Entrepreneur” by the Fort Myers News-Press and “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Business Observer.
Terri Sobeck's Bio
Fort Myers native, Terri Sobeck has been crucial to the success and growth of Stevens Construction since the company’s inception. Terri brings twenty years of construction administrative experience and has a thorough understanding of all processes and procedures necessary for the successful implementation and execution of projects.
Terri plans and manages all of the accounting for the company’s three offices, including the preparation of financial statements, budgets, payroll and taxes.
Active in the community, Terri serves as Treasurer/Secretary on the board of directors for Dress for Success SW Florida and as a board member for Page Field Commercial Park Condominium Association, Inc. The Florida Gulf Coast University accounting graduate is also a coach for the Goodwill Southwest Florida Microenterprise Institute. Terri has been a member of the Timberline Users Group for Sage 300 Construction since 2007 and has recently been named membership committee chairperson.
Troy Hernly's Bio
Joining Stevens Construction in 2006, Troy has completed more than 600,000-square-feet of construction for the company. A Florida licensed general contractor, Troy has led all construction projects out of the company’s Orlando and Tampa offices since 2012, including a 202,732-square-foot renovation of Florida Hospital Tampa and the Oasis Club at ChampionsGate, an 18,000-square-foot clubhouse in Orlando; two of the company’s largest projects.
A member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., Troy has earned his certificate in Health Care Construction from the American Society and a certificate for Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), a hospital educational program for contractors and healthcare engineers.
