Kurt has over 36 years of experience with historic restoration and adaptive reuse, healthcare and assisted living, private education, multifamily residences and non-profit construction management and leads Montagno Construction with a respectful, collaborative approach.

One of our subcontractors wrote, “Construction is a difficult business at times. When ‘cooler heads’ are required, Kurt is always there.”

Andrew is responsible for preparing budgets and cost estimates for all phases of planning – conceptual, schematic, design/development, construction control  budgets, and competitive hard bids. With an education in construction management from NYU and hands-on  experience, coupled with an easygoing personality, Andy has a broad knowledge of construction and the quiet strength to solicit competitive bids from a variety of subcontractors. He is proficient in generating the documentation required of public funding sources.

Nick has a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction and over 10 years of hands-on experience in commercial construction.

Nick is adept at all competitive pricing, from conceptual to hard bid, and demonstrates special ability when public funding requirements are involved.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Anthony has served as assistant estimator, project manager, and most recently as project engineer on high profile, complex projects. He is also our drone operator, capturing high quality aerial and job progress photography.

Duncan is an accomplished project manager with over 40 years’ experience managing multi-million dollar, international, complex projects. He has built transportation hubs, military housing, higher education, market rate housing and historic restoration / adaptive reuse projects.

Duncan has unparalleled skills in scheduling, oversight and communication.

Gabriel tracks project paperwork as such RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and sustainability documentation for LEED, Energy Star and Passive House standards. Gabriel exhibits the organizational skills and multitasking capabilities to ensure accuracy and thoroughness; and he is a Procore guru. 

Richard has been with Montagno Construction for decades. He has served in several capacities, continually building his career.

Richard has served as project manager in healthcare, higher education, private education, senior housing, and historic restoration / adaptive reuse.

Steve attended Roger Williams University for construction management and has decades of experience on projects up to $40,000,000. As project manager, he manages  communication, budget, schedule, and subcontractor relations. Steve is also OSHA 30-hr certified and is an active volunteer in the community.

Marie has over 36 years of experience in sales and business development. With a Master’s Degree in Business and committee-level participation in industry associations,

Marie assists in strategic planning, uses her writing skills to compile winning proposals, and maintains business contacts to find new opportunities.

Fran manages all the financial functions of the company. She has guided the company from its beginnings as a small commercial construction company to the financially sound, regional firm it is today.

With decades of project accounting experience, and degrees in Accounting and Business Management, Robin works alongside Fran Montagno as Accounting Manager, managing the project accounting department at Montagno Construction. As Project Accountant, Robin works with the project managers in generating accurate financial reports, requisitions, and more.

As Superintendent, Art provides an extensive amount of field experience to his projects for Montagno. Art’s 30 years in the industry, 25 of them as a Superintendent, have earned him many accolades from owners, consultants, and subcontractors. His construction experience is supported by the fact that in his tenure as a superintendent, he has never failed to complete a project on time. Artadministers

Hailing from a construction family himself, Bill contributes over 30 years of field experience to managing construction projects for Montagno. Bill has earned the respect of clients, consultants and subcontractors with his knowledge, expertise, and stellar communication skills. He has guided many challenging projects to successful completion for Montagno  Construction. He also administers our comprehensive safety program on each project to which he is assigned.

As Superintendent, Joe is handily manages total project coordination for new construction and renovation projects. Joe has spent 26 of his 33 years in construction with Montagno Construction. Joe is respected in the industry as an excellent communicator and negotiator. He is known for creating harmonious relationships on his  projects and enhancing the work environment, thereby producing highly productive teams of subcontractors, quality workmanship, and very satisfied clients. He also administers our comprehensive safety program on each project to which he is assigned.

JR studied mechanical engineering at Waterbury State Technical College before becoming a field supervisor. He has been with Montagno Construction for 31 years. As with all our superintendents, he orchestrates quality construction while adhering to all contract documents and specifications, coordinates all subcontractors’ work on the job, and manages the project schedule. He also administers our comprehensive safety program on each project to which he is assigned.

Kevin brings a significant amount of field experience to every Montagno project. He is responsible for work flow, subcontractor coordination, and supervision in the field. Kevin’s tenacity and forward thinking have yielded strong relationships and mutual respect through collaboration with owners, consultants, and subcontractors. He also administers our comprehensive safety program on each
project to which he is assigned.

Sal has managed high profile projects for the State, municipalities, and publicly traded national firms. He manages construction on site and coordinates with owners’ reps, the design team, inspectors, subcontractors, and neighboring businesses; and he ensures that our comprehensive safety program is understood and followed. Sal’s trustworthiness often turns clients into repeat customers because they know they can depend on him to deliver what he says he will, and when. He also administers our comprehensive safety program on each project to which he is assigned.
