Greg has developed a strong knowledge of the operational needs of A/Z Corporation and of the expectations of our clients throughout the past 21 years with our organization. As A/Z’s President, he is responsible for managing our day-to-day internal business requirements, including establishing performance goals, allocating manpower and resources, and administering standard operating procedures.

Greg leverages his 39 years of industry experience to guide A/Z’s short- and long-term business objectives and provide overall direction to our firm’s growth and development. His leadership ability is built upon a diverse foundation of construction management and estimating experience previously gained at such organizations as ADP Marshall Inc., Fluor Daniel, and Morrison Knudsen. Greg has successfully led some of the most technically complex projects in the Northeast during his career.

Greg is a member of the Boston Area Chapter of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE). He holds a B.S. in Micro and Molecular Biology from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Design Health & Safety Certification from Harvard School of Public Health Laboratory.

John brings a diverse leadership background to our team in the role of Director of Field Services. His background with working in logistically challenging environments has proven to be an invaluable source of knowledge for our team as they execute projects with unique regulatory and security requirements. John draws upon his extensive background in working with some of the area’s leading companies to ensure that our teams comprehensively achieve A/Z’s highest standards and our clients’ specific goals.

Kevin is instrumental to mapping out forward-thinking programs to align with market / client requirements. Kevin is driven to helping our clients grow and evolve through the process of gathering insights to analyze market requirements and developing effective client-centric solutions. He supports some of our most complex and challenging project assignments in the life sciences, utility, specialty manufacturing, and institutional markets. Kevin currently serves as the President of the Boston Area Chapter of ISPE, and he served three previous terms as President as well as Treasurer. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. Kevin is the current and three-time past President of the Boston Area Chapter of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE).

In the role of Director, Bob is responsible for ensuring that our project management teams maintain the highest levels of communication, quality, value, and safety.

He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from SUNY Maritime College. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) as well as a Master Electrician in numerous jurisdictions. Rob was instrumental in A/Z being selected for the Project of the Year Award by the World Alliance for Decentralized Energy (WADE).

As a Vice President with our firm, Scott is responsible for leading our Mid-Atlantic regional operations. As Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) Operations Manager, Chip leads his team through some of the most demanding and innovative projects in the industry today. His experience includes specialty demolition projects in compliance with LEED sustainable requirements, in addition to fast-tracked architectural fit-outs. Chip’s experience in heavy rigging has been extremely valuable in supporting plant shutdown and outages in collaboration with our mechanical and electrical groups.

As Mechanical Operations Manager, David has overall responsibility for the Mechanical Division’s performance and market development. Throughout David’s 41-year tenure in the mechanical industry, he has estimated, coordinated, and managed complex mechanical projects across multiple technology-focused markets. David’s team includes some of the industry’s most talented management and industry-specific technicians.

Mark Gagnon is delivering on a wide range of leadership responsibilities for our Mid-Atlantic team as a Regional Operations Manager with A/Z. In this role, he is not only responsible for developing and sustaining our valued relationships with our clients, but also overseeing our project teams as they plan and execute complex projects across the region. Mark’s 30+ years in the industry have included high-profile projects in demanding sectors such as science and technology, manufacturing, healthcare, higher education, and utility infrastructure.

As Electrical Operations Manager, Steve is responsible for coordinating both the electrical and instrumentation efforts of our teams. Steve leverages his electrical engineering background to lead electrical design-build initiatives, and his experience in power distribution and process manufacturing allows A/Z to take on the most demanding projects. He has supported clients on a wide range of projects, from the construction of power plants to infrastructure and instrumentation.

During more than a half of a decade with A/Z Corporation, Steven Biondo has played a lead role in the company’s proposal development and marketing operations. He leads the Marketing Department as Director to execute a broad spectrum of deliverables—from qualification, proposal, and presentation efforts of every scale to A/Z’s digital and print marketing initiatives. Steven’s background in both the written and visual arts complement the diverse range of duties that the Marketing Department delivers throughout all areas of the company. Steven holds a B.A. in English with a Creative Writing concentration, and he is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration degree. He is OSHA 30-Hour certified, an Eagle Scout, and a member of the Construction Marketing Association (CMA).

Perry serves as a key Advisor to A/Z, a role in which he supports client relationship management, strategic development, and corporate growth. His decades-long career with A/Z has included serving as the company’s President for more than 20 years. Perry holds a BSEE from Roger Williams University. Additionally, Perry has an ASHE Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) and previously served as a Corporator for Backus Hospital of the Hartford HealthCare network and Lawrence + Memorial Hospital. In 2016 and 2018, Perry as A/Z President was awarded the Leadership Award for mid-sized employers in Connecticut by the Hartford Courant.
