Scope Of Work
In keeping with San Benito High School's commitment to "educating students to their highest potential," its Career Technical Education (CTE) Center serves as a flagship vocational training facility for the school's diverse population of 3,000-plus students. It houses a state-of-the-art metal shop, wood shop, auto shop and agriculture shop with associated classrooms and exterior work yards. This pre-engineered building also includes a 5,500 sq. ft. mezzanine for additional storage space. Exterior canopy structures in each outdoor yard provide additional work space that can be utilized at any time of year. The interior spaces are efficiently cooled and heated using ERV's (Energy Recovery Ventilation). Other design features include insulated metal wall panels, overhead trolley crane systems, densified concrete floor finish, and natural daylighting from storefront/curtainwall systems, skylights, and full-view sectional roll-up doors.
