Hailey Development Group (HDG) was started in 1998 by Richard Petrosa as a quintessentially “New York” based focused construction and development services enterprise. The goal then and today is to push the quality, standards, and expectations of building and development services for the real estate community in New York City to new levels. The HDG team is comprised of Construction and Real Estate Development professionals with proven track records exclusively in the New York City design, development and construction industry. With its own unique municipal standards and requirements, New York City is generally considered one of the most challenging places in the world to build, from finance and purchase of land to building permit approval and construction. Hailey Development’s A-Team of seasoned industry professionals—with a diversity of backgrounds ranging from general contracting and business administration to architecture, engineering, zoning, municipal and legal requirements—are uniquely qualified to respond to and succeed in this challenging environment.

In addition to nearly 2 decades of high end building and construction management, HDG has long provided such services as real estate advisory, strategic planning, site logistics management and Owner’s Representative project guidance. While maintaining our roots as a builder of high quality projects, over the course of our history every new project has given us insight into how to supplement and improve our skills to better assist architects, Engineers, owners, and developers.  What this multi-faceted and talented HDG team now brings to every real estate development and constructionproject is a diversity of skills and perspectives that guarantees success by assuring no vital area of the larger process is ignored or overlooked.
