Scope Of Work
Our equipment is capable of handling large and small scale reclamation projects. This parking lot presented itself with numerous failed areas and rutted sections caused by heavy loads from garbage trucks. The subbase structure was poorly constructed and insufficient to handle this constant heavy truck traffic. The best option other contractors could offer was an expensive cut and fill. Excavate and disposal of the unsuitable sub base soils, import expensive aggregate and increase the asphalt structure.
We were able to offer a cost effective reclamation solution. Reclaim the existing asphalt structure into the subbase. Add Portland cement and mix the reclaimed materials to offer an 8 inch structurally stabile sub base (capable of handling the expected heavy loads), install a 3 inch I-5 top course surface layer. This process produced a structurally sound area to sustain heavy truck traffic at a considerable cost saving versus the traditional cut and fill method.
