PSI Waste is a family-owned business dedicated to servicing the compactor and baler industry.  Located in Central Florida, our service area extends across the state from the East coast of Florida to the West. We consult, design, sell or rent, install, service, repair and rebuild all makes and model trash compactors and cardboard balers throughout Central Florida.  We have a large parts department and inventor and can ship worldwide. We also manufacture and build custom equipment, cart dumpers, full enclosure, and apartment style compactors. We are full service- from architectural consulting, design consulting site surveys to installs and repairs.  We do it all.

With our fleet of 6 service trucks, trained technicians, design and consulting, computerized wireless dispatching, and a large parts inventory, we provide unsurpassed service and quality.  5 of our trucks have a torch and welder, and 4 trucks have a crane.  All are stocked with parts, hoses, and oil.  We also have a roll-back truck loaded with a torch, welder, and install tools and supplies.  We believe in being prepared.

In our shop we rebuild and repair hundreds of self-contained and stationary compactors and balers every year.  Fully rebuilt compactors are washed inside and out and completely disassembled for a full evaluation.  We also roll them over so we can get a good look at the under structure and make repairs as needed.  After reassembly each compactor is put through a testing process including electrical, hydraulic, and leak tests.  If there is a problem, we want to find it.  

PSI manufactures the P50 and PX50 apartment compactors. A powerful solution for multi-story buildings efficiently compacting waste at a ratio of 4:1 saving space and time.
Multiple options are available to meet your site needs. These options include hoppers, power units, latches, and colors.

PSI Waste is also a UL 508A Panel Shop and manufactures our own hydraulic power units.  Many Municipalities are required that any compactor installed is UL Listed.  PSI Waste can help you meet this requirement. 

We build, sell, lease, install, repair, rebuild, and modify trash compactors, cardboard balers and closely related equipment. That’s it. However, that is a lot! We have five fully loaded service trucks. Our talented technicians and their trucks are equipped with cranes, welders, torches, and a wide selection of the most common replacement parts to repair most electrical and hydraulic issues; with a selection of steel to remedy structural deficiencies.

We take a methodical approach to prepare and outfit our technicians with the right skills, tools and parts to get the job done right on the first visit resulting in accelerated recovery time for your customer’s operation. Most repairs are completed same day. We use computerized dispatching and smart phone technology. When a call comes in it is scheduled in the office and the technician receives the request electronically. Calls are color coded and arranged in order of importance, everyone is in sync.

Emails are automatically generated and sent to the customers to confirm a service call is scheduled.  Follow-up emails are also automatically sent, keeping our customers up to date with work order status. In our shop we have a very experienced team of welders, fabricators and technicians to completely disassemble compactors and power units so they can be fully evaluated and rebuilt.  We finalize the rebuilds with custom hoppers, full enclosures, cart tippers and custom power units.  Our UL panel shop builds standard and custom panels to meet your needs.
