Barbara Bieganski's Bio
Barbara Bieganski is Vice President of Modular Engineering for Vanguard Modular Building Systems. Barbara has over 35 years of experience in the commercial modular building industry and is active in both industry-wide and local
construction code issues. Since joining Vanguard in 2001 as the Engineering Manager Barbara constantly increased her skills and expanded her knowledge to attain the position she now holds.
Barbara received her AS degree in Architectural Drafting and holds an OSHA 10 Hour Construction Certificate. Her areas of expertise are: Building Codes, Plan Review, and Technical Training.
Barbara’s responsibilities to the Major Projects Group at Vanguard are to review technical specifications in bid packages and advise the major projects group of any known conflicts between the applicable Code and the specifications.
Carl Bennett's Bio
Formerly President of Bennett’s Trailer Company, Inc., and Bennett’s Construction Company, Carl Bennett brought with him 40 years of construction experience when he joined Vanguard Modular Building Systems, LLC in 2007. He has proven skills in all areas of sales, transportation, installation, modular building design, construction management, and contract negotiations. Carl Bennett has been responsible for the design and management of award winning modular building projects, and has successfully negotiated several multi-million dollar contracts. His primary role at Vanguard Modular Building Systems is Vice President of Construction and Contracts, but Mr. Bennett also serves as an adviser to management and the construction teams. His expertise in successfully handling modular construction projects with complex requirements is a considerable asset to Vanguard Modular
Carl Bennett is a graduate of Villanova University. He is distinguished as a charter member of the Mobile Modular Office Association (MMOA), later known as the Modular Building Institute (MBI). Mr. Bennett served as a member of the Board of Directors of Elm Towne Village, a retirement community in Atco, NJ, and Operation Stand Down, a military veterans support organization. Additionally, he is recognized for his military service, having been awarded the Vietnam service and campaign ribbons while a member of the U.S. Army.
In 2018 Mr. Bennett had the honor of being inducted into the Modular Building Institute's prestigious Hall of Fame. This formal recognition validates the authentic impact and influence he has had throughout the modular building industry.
Ed Haggerty's Bio
Ed Haggerty joined Vanguard Modular Building Systems in 2004, after over 20 years of experience managing both privately-owned, established businesses, as well as start-up organizations in the consumer product and equipment management industries. He has served in both financial and operational capacities, holding a variety of executive management positions including Chief Financial Officer, VP of Finance, Director of Operations, and Controller. His efforts in the area of cost control, especially with regard to administration, employee benefits, and business insurance have resulted in substantial savings throughout his career.
As Chief Financial Officer at Vanguard, Mr. Haggerty directs and oversees all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organization. He is an excellent leader with a track record of documented contributions leading to improved financial performance, heightened productivity, and enhanced internal controls. He uses strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment to make decisions with a high level of integrity and dependability.
Mark Al-Soufi's Bio
Over the course of his 31 years in the industry, Mark Al-Soufi has served in a variety of supervisory positions on several continents, including Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, Construction Manager, Engineering Manager, and Vice President of Engineering and Construction.
Mr. Al-Soufi joined Vanguard Modular Building Systems in 2000,and is currently serving as Senior Vice President of Major Projects with overall responsibility for the engineering, project management, technical training, and the safety program of Vanguard Modular. He has comprehensive knowledge of educational, institutional, correctional and commercial construction and is a registered Professional Engineer in over 25 states from Maine to Texas, while also holding General Contractor licenses in several states. In addition, he is a member of the Modular Building Institute, the Construction Specification Institute, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Peter Eberle's Bio
Peter V. Eberle is President and CEO of Vanguard Modular Building Systems. His strength and energy in business leadership stem from over 20 years of experience spanning all facets of the modular building industry; and from holding C-Level positions with many companies, serving both domestic and international industries.
Peter's expertise in managing modular industry companies extends to those that handle production, delivery, installation, safety, and financing. He leads Vanguard Modular with a customer-centric focus, exemplifying one of the core values of the business, and creating a steadfast platform from which the business can deliver quality buildings that meet or exceed customer's expectations. Peter graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a B. S. in Business. Peter, and all Vanguard Modular's professionals, are responsible for delivering exceptional buildings and solving facility needs for a wide range of customers across many diverse industries.

Heinz-Josef (Jody) Werner's Bio
Mr. Werner joined Vanguard Modular Building Systems in November 2000 opening an office in Raleigh, NC as an Area Sales Manager. Mr. Werner started his career in the commercial modular industry in a sales capacity for Space Master Building Systems in June of 1996 until September of 1998 after Space Master was acquired by William Scotsman. He left Williams Scotsman in October of 2000 to start with Vanguard.
Mr. Werner spent the first seven years with Vanguard as an Area Sales Manager until his promotion to Director of Sales in June of 2008. Since that time he has also held the position of GM & VP of the Southeast Region from May 2010 until November 2013 and VP of Sales from 2014 until his promotion in 2018 to Sr. VP of Sales. As the Sr. VP of Sales Mr. Werner is a member of the senior leadership team who is focused on sales leadership, sales team building and revenue generation.
Mr. Werner is the longest tenured full-time employee at Vanguard who credits his growth to his mentor, direct reports, employees in the Malvern Corporate office along with Vanguard's customers & suppliers. The learning opportunities they have challenged him with have shaped him into valuable team member to help the organization move forward in a positive direction for the future.
Mark Meyers's Bio
Mark has been an integral part of the Vanguard modular leadership team since joining the company in 2001. His dedicated experience as Director of Major Project Administration, Credit Manager, Financial Analyst and financial planning, coupled with his technology savvy and keen customer focus has made him uniquely suited for his current responsibilities. Mr. Meyers has progressed through the organization primarily through his ability to adapt, think outside the box, and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization. From finance to marketing he has utilized his proven analytical abilities and business acumen to significantly improve the organization's approach on many fronts. Mr. Meyers continues to push the envelope developing new ideas for Vanguard Modular on an almost daily basis.
