Scope Of Work

Barnstable Public Schools has been working to expand their early learning program and needed more classroom space for their Enoch Cobb Early Learning Center located at Hyannis West Elementary School. The turnkey six thousand square foot permanent modular classroom building was installed and ready for the students’ first day of school.

Custom built with ground level access and superb interior and exterior finishes, you would never know these classrooms were built with modular construction. Featuring four classrooms the building also includes office space for the district’s Spanish and Portuguese translators and an English language learning parent center.

Each spacious classroom has substantial space for learning activities, large storage closet and a restroom designed specifically for young children. Big windows and bright finishes bring natural light into the classroom, enhancing the learning environment for the early learning center students. Access to the original existing school building is provided under a metal canopy to protect students and faculty from inclement weather. Because this was phase two of the Enoch Cobb Early Learning Center a site-built connector was constructed to create seamless access from the phase one building.
