Jeff Mockbee's Bio
Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Jeff and his dad, CAM, Inc. founder Chuck Mockbee always talked about going into business together. Jeff officially joined the family business at 17, and after high school got his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. From there, he earned his State of Ohio Real Estate Sales License, and promptly joined both of his parents to develop the next generation of CAM, Inc.
CAM gives him the opportunity to solve problems for others and build something that is tangible and meets their needs while also providing a good return financially. He participated in Leadership Akron’s Class of 1994, and has been a member of the NAIOP Private Developers National Forum since 2000. As President, Jeff tries to guide both the company and himself with integrity, honesty, providing a quality product, and hard work.
When he’s not entrenched in all things that pertain to CAM, Inc., he enjoys being involved with his kids activities, and traveling with his family and friends. He also spends time in the Akron community as a volunteer with United Disabilities Services and Bath Township Sewer and Water District.
Mike Mockbee's Bio
When Mike Mockbee’s parents started CAM Inc., he was still in high school. Mike pitched in wherever he could on the job helping out with construction site cleanup, mowing grass and any other company projects that came up. After receiving a degree in Marketing from Ashland University, it was only natural that he joined the family business with his dad, mother, older brother and sister.
Mike started full-time in 1992 as a property manager for CAM. Mike currently oversees the Property Management department, Leasing and handles company Human Resources.
Mike has always been fascinated with construction and real estate, and received his Real Estate License from the State of Ohio. When he travels he loves new architecture and how people live and interact in different buildings. He is driven by the relationships he has with clients and strives to create win-win partnerships where everyone – clients and CAM employees – are treated fairly.
When he’s out of the office, Mike enjoys being spending time with family, hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley and going on bike rides, skiing, traveling and looking for new adventures. While he loves a well-designed office building, the great outdoors is the best place for Mike to take a break.

Gary Thewes's Bio
Gary Thewes has worked at CAM for 23 years as a Construction Manager. Some refer to him in the office as the “Get ‘Er Done Guy.” Gary works on construction jobs before, during, and after clients move in. He works on project designs, budgets, bidding proposals, scheduling, onsite coordination and more. He is available for clients after move-in for any other construction needs they have as well.
Gary was raised in a construction-oriented family. He learned the trades from his dad, an ironworker along with his brother, a carpenter and eventually enrolled in the Union Carpentry Program. He ended his apprenticeship at the Union Carpentry Program after four years, leaving as a Journeyman Carpenter. From there, he worked professionally as a carpenter and job foreman for Canton Floors Inc. for 10 years before taking his talents to CAM, Inc.
At CAM, Gary enjoys being part of a team that takes care of everyone they work with, which he believes is why clients and employees stick around for a long time. Gary often works with the same contractors over and over, delivering a quality experience each time. As Gary says, “working for a company that treats their employees, subcontractors, and customers well makes a difference.”
Many of the principles that drive Gary come from his traditional Boy Scout values. Gary is an Eagle Scout and a long-time Scout Leader, who can often be found participating in Scout programs such as going camping with the troop. Gary lives at home with his wife Vicki. He is the father of two children…his daughter Anna, who currently lives in Fairborn and son Joey, who is currently in high school and working towards becoming an Eagle Scout himself.

Rick Rebadow's Bio
Born and raised in the Buffalo/Amherst/Niagara Falls Area, Rick received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Canisius College. He relocated to the Greater Akron Region in 2004 to help grow the Northeast Ohio economy. Though new to CAM, Inc. in 2019, he is not new to the area, having lead business development activities of the Greater Akron Chamber. Rick’s focus is on increasing CAM, Inc.’s development portfolio in commercial and industrial markets, and more specifically leveraging his contacts as an economic development professional to help CAM expand into new markets.
He joined the CAM family because he felt it was important to be with a company that had shared values – a high emphasis on its customers; their needs; a collaborative and welcoming culture. Driven by honesty, integrity, responsiveness, and a passion to go above and beyond the expected, Rick is excited to be with a company that aligns with these core traits.
When he’s not busy building relationships and networking around town, you can find Rick hanging with his wife (they are newly empty nesters), visiting his kids, exploring new places, golfing, boating and traveling.
Traci Mockbee's Bio
Traci Mockbee always knew she would find her way back to the family business. After graduating from Miami University with a degree in Marketing & Management, she took a job at Otis Elevator Company, where she was heavily trained in sales, honing her craft with the intention of adding value to her father, Chuck’s, business one day.
After five years at Otis, Traci joined CAM where she began working in sales, providing leasing and construction for the Richfield and Bath areas and beyond. She received her Real Estate Sales and Broker Licenses and worked her way up to Vice President of Sales. She and her team take a multidisciplinary approach to sales, using everyone’s skill set to engage tenants and develop the long-term relationships CAM is famous for cultivating.
Traci takes immense pride in working for her family’s business, knowing they managed to keep operations running successfully into a second generation. Her skill in building tenant relationships comes from years of watching her father work hard with integrity. Today she works with a team-oriented approach, valuing the skill sets of her employees and thriving in the team environment they’ve created.
Traci has adopted this same approach in her personal life, spending time out of the office with her family and volunteering within her community. Traci was the Treasurer of the Northern Ohio Chapter of NAIOP, the Association for Commercial Real Estate, for 11 years and served on the National Board of Directors of NAIOP as well.
