Our family business is a longstanding fixture in Northern Illinois, and we’re proud to call this place home since 1930. When M. Howard Benson first opened shop back then, he relied on common-sense values. He believed that by providing quality craftsmanship at an affordable price, his family would have the recipe for lasting success. We’re glad to say that he was right.

We’ve grown so much over the years, from a simple stone cutting shop to a landmark material supplier with a state of the art granite shop. We provide an epic range of quality building materials to fit every budget project, including granite & quartz countertops, cabinetry, flooring, building brick & stone, landscape materials, fireplaces, and more. Through all the years of expanding, our values have remained the same. We still do things the old fashioned way—providing top quality craftsmanship and extraordinary customer service at affordable prices for businesses large and small.
