Michael A. Romeo Sr.'s Bio
Michael A. Romeo Sr. has been involved in the insurance business for over 40 years, and is currently Managing Director of Industrial Coverage.
Mike was previously President of the Suffolk Country Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America, the largest agents association of its kind in the United States and has served as the Association’s Automation Chairman. Mike has also served as chairman of several automation user groups on both the local and national levels. Also during his insurance career, he has been selected to sit on various insurance companies national and local agent councils.
From the early 1980’s to 1990, Mike served on the Board of Directors of the Comsewogue Youth Club, holding various positions including President.
Mike has served on the Board of Directors of the Long Island Insurance Community, an organization which has raised over 3.1 million dollars for Long Island Charities.
Mike has served as a commissioner on the New York State Joint Commission of Public Ethics having been appointed by Governor Cuomo.
