A&A International was founded in 1981 when a German family brought a popular European concept to the US — retractable awnings for patios and decks.  The product was relatively new here, but the family knew how retractable awnings helped Europeans get more enjoyment from their outdoor spaces. Much time and effort was required to build awareness of the product, but it all paid off.
